Hey Loves,
Hope all is well and that you guys are having a wonderful week.
Today I want to talk about maximizing your wardrobe. This is something that I
have been doing for a while now and that I think is very necessary.
You don't have to buy new clothes every season to look nice.
The best way to maximize your wardrobe is by finding new and more innovative
ways to wear things that you already have.
Pairing old things with new things is a sure way to create a new outfit.
Ever time I see a new trend it always brings me back to what I have in my closet and how
I can create a look with out breaking the bank. Honestly, I always
find something that is old that has comeback to surface so that's why I am always
reluctant to throw things away.
This top is actually an old dress that I purchases
about 2 or 3 years ago from Forever 21. I've only worn it a few times but
every time I wore it as a shirt because it's too short for my taste. The skirt I just
purchased this year and when I was looking through my closet for an
outfit these two came to wed.
To pull the outfit together I opted for this oversized clutch that I purchased
maybe 5 years ago, nude pumps and statement earrings. I believe the clutch was actually
supposed to be an IPad case or something but that's were the creativity comes in to play.
I love when I can find an item and use it for something else
besides what it was meant for.
A lot of use have different creative talents that can be
used in so many aspect of life. Let your creativity roam into your wardrobe to help create
outfits that will suit your everyday lifestyle. You don't have to go too far outside
of the box. Just find ways to maximize your wardrobe that can help
you utilize what you have while saving time and money.
And always....Remember.....
Keep It Stylish,
XOXO
